Following the third Study Group Meeting, held June 13th, 2023, the members of the Study Group attending the meeting agreed that the work was substantially completed and that the Study Group should be disbanded, pending approval of the Project Authorization Request (PAR). Consequently, the group’s activities have been suspended until the Working Group can be formed.
Following approval of the PAR by the IEEE Standards Association Standards Board (SASB), a working group will form to develop the text of the new standard.
Members of the Study Group will automatically be granted membership in the Working Group, subject to the provisions of the IEEE 1848-MSSV Working Group Policies and Procedures.
