As part of the work of the 1848-MSSV Study Group, a survey was developed to assess the use of the techniques and measures described by IEEE 1848:2020 in the machinery sector. The study group members approved the survey design in June 2023. The survey will be launched on June 30, 2023, and run until September 30, 2023. After completing the survey period, the results will be analyzed and presented to the new IEEE 1848.X committee at the first meeting in Q4-2023.
