The 1857.7 standard

This standard specifies the media presentation description format and media segment format for dynamic and adaptive streaming over networks such as HTTP. Particularly, the specified formats support multi-stream synchronization, content protection, content authentication, and client behavior control.

WG Ballot was conduct on P1857.7 Draft 1 from May 12, 2017 to June 08, 2017. (May 21, 2017)
The P1857.7 PAR was authorized on Dec 10, 2014 and currently the standard is being drafted, and it is open to anyone who is interested in the technology we are standardizing. (Feb. 05, 2015)
