IEEE 1857 working group sponsored by\u00a0Standards Activities Board Committee (C\/SAB)<\/a>\u00a0under\u00a0IEEE Computer Society<\/a>\u00a0is charted to create and maintain 1857 series standards to provide regular high quality and efficient coding tool sets for compression, decompression, processing, and representing of multimedia data.
