Comment Submission Guidelines
- Comments shall be submitted in MS Excel format using the provided Comment Submission template.
- The comment file shall be named using the following format: tfx_YYMM_comments_lastname_n.xlsm, where
- YYMM is year and month of the meeting during which the comments are to be reviewed;
- tfx is tf1 for IEEE P1914.1 TF and tf3 for IEEE P1914.3 TF,
- lastname is the last (family) name of the main author or the presenter; and
- n is an index used to differentiate multiple comment files submitted by the same commenter (n = 1,2,3 ¢€ ¦).
- Draft File name shall refer to the name of the draft, the comments address.
- Each comment shall clearly identify location in the draft (page, subclause, line) to which the comment refers. Page number shall be the PDF reader ¢€â„¢s page number.
- Comment field and Proposed Change field shall contain concise and clear description or a problem and a proposed solution. If it is necessary to provide a longer description, formulas, special symbols, or graphics, a Supplemental file may be submitted for each comment. If a supplemental file is submitted, the comment shall refer to the file by including the file name in either the Comment or the Proposed Change field. Refer to Guidelines for Submitting Supplemental Files below.
- Comments with either Comment field or Proposed Solution field left blank will be rejected.
- If supplemental files are to be submitted, they shall ‚ be packaged into a single archive file (ZIP format) together with the comment file.
