Standard for Speech Recognition and Interaction System for Smart Home — Engineering Specifications for a Listening Room
Scope
This standard specifies the general technical requirements for a test site with its own background noise playback system used in the performance test of speech recognition and interaction system for smart home.
This standard specifies the requirements for test sites that simulate the acoustic environment of buildings. The performance and characteristics of speech recognition and interaction for smart home appliances and similar use can be tested in these test sites.
This standard does not apply to the test sites that simulate the non-building acoustic environment such as invehicle environment and open-field environment.
Need for the Project
Speech recognition and interaction technologies are increasingly adopted in smart homes and similar fields. The existing testing and calibration standards for speech recognition and interaction are mainly aimed at application scenarios such as mobile phones, speakers, and wireless headsets, and are not suitable for the smart home and similar fields which have much higher complexity than these scenarios. Through this standard, a unified requirements for test site can be specified, which is conducive to the development of tests and calibration related to smart home speech recognition and interaction, and this standard can help to promote the real implementation of speech recognition and interaction technology in smart home and similar fields.
