It is responsible for the development and maintenance of standards related to the field of antennas and propagation.<\/p>\n<p>The following standards are currently available:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/standards.ieee.org\/ieee\/145\/4705\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IEEE Std 145-2013: IEEE Standard for Definitions of Terms for Antennas.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/standards.ieee.org\/ieee\/211\/6669\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IEEE Std 211-2018: IEEE Standard Definitions of Terms for Radio Wave Propagation.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/standards.ieee.org\/ieee\/149\/6667\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IEEE Std 149-2021: IEEE Recommended Practice for Antenna Measurement.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/standards.ieee.org\/ieee\/356\/6930\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IEEE Std 356-2020: IEEE Guide for the Measurements of Electromagnetic Properties of Earth Media.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/standards.ieee.org\/ieee\/1502\/6668\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IEEE Std 1502-2020: IEEE Recommended Practice for Radar-Cross Section Test Procedures.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/standards.ieee.org\/ieee\/1720\/4190\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IEEE Std 1720-2012: IEEE Recommended Practice for Near-Field Antenna Measurement.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The following standard is currently being developed:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/standards.ieee.org\/ieee\/2816\/7620\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IEEE P2816: Recommended Practice for Computational Electromagnetics Applied to Modeling and Simulation of Antennas.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The IEEE Antennas and Propagation Standards Committee (APS\/SC) is sponsored by the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society.
