The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Model Representation, Compression, Distribution and Management Standard Working Group (AIM WG) has been officially established on 23th September 2020, under IEEE Data Compression Standard Committee (IEEE C/DC SC). The AIM working group is aiming to define AI development interface, AI model interoperable representation, coding format, and model encapsulated format for efficient AI model inference, storage, distribution, and management.
The 1st IEEE C/DC AIM Working Group Meeting is scheduled at 09:00-12:00 on December 09, 2020. This is the first formal meeting of AIM and we welcome all researchers, experts and academics interested in standard work to join us.
To this end, the Working Group is formally soliciting standard proposals from the public that meet the following requirements:
- Break down the AI model’s barriers between different computing architecture and algorithm frameworks
- Improve the model runtime energy-efficiency
- Reduce the distribution and storage cost
- Protect intellectual property
Any proposal that falls within the scope of AIM is welcome.
All the proposals shall be shall be sent to [email protected] by 17:00 on December 07, 2020 using the attached template.
