The ICICLE monthly community call is November 19th at 12pm ET. We’re thrilled to have as our guest speaker Robert Laurie, Director, Publisher and Platform Partnerships for Benetech. Benetech creates software for social good in the areas of education, employment, and social inclusion. They provide learning materials and support to students with learning disabilities in low- and middle-income countries and underserved communities and develop inclusive technology to empower these learners to access knowledge. Robert will be sharing with the community their work around creating pathways to educational equity.
We’ll be meeting via Webex for the community call. (See details below with meeting code and password.) It is scheduled for one hour’s length. Full agenda will be posted here.
If you missed the Invitation to Learning Engineering webinar, “Advancing Workforce Learning through Learning Engineering,” watch the recording of the webinar with ICICLE Workforce Market Interest Group co-chairs, DJ Jaeger and John Costa and review the presentation. You will discover how learning engineering supports workforce transformation through data-informed design, system-level thinking, and evidence-based practices that link learning to performance outcomes.
Talking about Learning Engineering
The Learning Engineering Research Network (LERN) Convening, hosted by the ASU Learning Engineering Institute, is accepting proposals for papers and poster for the “From Insights to Implementation: Learning Engineering in Action” convening, Feb. 3–4, 2026. in Tempe, Arizona, USA The convening will showcase the latest advances in AI, design, and education research, and will feature keynotes, panels, and research presentations. Submissions are welcome across disciplines: proposal guidelines and proposal submission form.
