ICICLE\u00a0October\u00a02024\u00a0Community Call: Avron Barr, AI and the Future of Learning Expert, and Past Chair, IEEE Learning Technology Standards Committee<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The\u00a0ICICLE\u00a0monthly community call is Wednesday,\u00a0October\u00a016th at 12pm ET. We excited that\u00a0Avron Barr<\/a>,\u00a0principal of Aldo Ventures, Inc., will be\u00a0sharing his recent experience advising an\u00a0organization in India to design a course for teachers on AI in education. Avron has had a life-long interest in how AI will change the way we know, learn, and\u00a0teach. He\u00a0edited\u00a0the seminal\u00a0Handbook of Artificial Intelligence\u00a0<\/em>while at Stanford University and then co-founded Teknowledge, an early AI startup in Silicon Valley. Working with companies, organizations, schools,\u00a0and start-ups, he helps people understand, explain, and market cutting-edge software. He chaired the\u00a0IEEE Standards Association Learning Technology Standards Committee<\/a>\u00a0for over a decade. It was under his leadership that\u00a0ICICLE\u00a0launched.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
