We are excited that\u00a0Will Thalheimer\u00a0is our guest speaker. Will is one of the leading innovators in workplace learning evaluation. He created a distinctive questioning approach outlined in his book,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3x62Zxt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Performance-Focused Learner Surveys: Using Distinctive Questioning to Get Actionable Data and Guide Learning Effectiveness<\/a>, an evaluation framework that brings learning wisdom back into the learning-evaluation process,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.worklearning.com\/ltem\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LTEM<\/a>\u00a0(the Learning Transfer Evaluation Model), and a new evaluation approach called\u00a0LEADS\u00a0(Learning Evaluation As Decision Support) described in his new book,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/4674JGS\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The CEO\u2019s Guide to Training, eLearning &amp; Work: Empowering Learning for a Competitive Advantage<\/a>. He\u2019ll share with us a number of ideas about learning evaluation, data for decision-making, and impact, discussing their importance and relevance to learning engineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;ll be meeting via&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ieeesa.webex.com\/webappng\/sites\/ieeesa\/meeting\/info\/bd91ad9802594c0695956194c9f8db00?siteurl=ieeesa&amp;MTID=mfe39e7e42a9d43818953b77c12b85c1b\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Webex<\/a>&nbsp;for the community call. This session will provide an overview of Learning Engineering, share a use case on the application of Learning Engineering, discuss that use case from a variety of perspectives, and open the floor to participants to pose questions and discuss all things LE.
