We&#8217;re excited to have&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/kevin-gluck\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Kevin Gluck<\/a>, a cognitive scientist whose career has repeatedly intersected with learning sciences and technologies. He is the Chief Scientist at&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.resilientcognitivesolutions.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Resilient Cognitive Solutions<\/a>, exploring connections and opportunities between cognitive systems engineering and related fields including learning engineering. He has had years of experience doing academic research on computational cognitive modeling and intelligent tutoring systems, and at the Air Force Research Laboratory he lead a team dedicated to predictive mathematical modeling of human memory dynamics for individualized training applications and was the core research area lead on personalized learning and readiness sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;ll be meeting via&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ieeesa.webex.com\/webappng\/sites\/ieeesa\/meeting\/info\/bd91ad9802594c0695956194c9f8db00?siteurl=ieeesa&amp;MTID=mfe39e7e42a9d43818953b77c12b85c1b\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Webex<\/a>&nbsp;(See details below with meeting code and password). Videos include the Practice of Learning Engineering, the Challenges of Learning Engineering, an Overview of Learning Engineering, and three case studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mitili.mit.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MIT Integrated Learning Initiative<\/a>&nbsp;has a Q&amp;A with&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/mitili.mit.edu\/news\/qa-lauren-totino-learning-engineer-mits-open-learning\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lauren Totino, a Learning Engineer<\/a>&nbsp;in MIT Open Learning, about &#8216;what exactly is a learning engineer? and &#8216;how does data analysis drive MIT\u2019s education effectiveness?&#8217;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Special and Market Interest Group Work<\/strong><br>The Special and Market Interest Groups develop resources and document experiences for the learning engineering&nbsp;community.
