IEEE Education Society VGSC – 2025
Virtual Graduate Study Consortium (VGSC) Highlights
The IEEE Education Society’s Virtual Graduate Study Consortium (VGSC) was successfully featured as a dedicated track during the 2025 International Symposium on Digital Forensics and Security (ISDFS). The track served as a unique forum for graduate students, researchers, and practitioners to present their ongoing work, explore collaborative opportunities, and engage with current IEEE standards development efforts in education technology.
This special VGSC track showcased a range of contributions, including student-led research, academic-industry collaborations, and technology demonstrations aligned with emerging educational standards. Particular focus was placed on trusted learning systems, remote experimentation, and online laboratories.
The event emphasized engagement with IEEE Education Society standards such as:
- IEEE SA Std. 1876 – 2019: Networked Smart Learning Objects for Online Laboratories
- IEEE SA P2834: Secure and Trusted Learning Systems
- IEEE SA P2834.1: Digital Forensics on Trusted Learning Systems
