Evaluation Methods of Virtual Training Systems
Scope:
This standard defines the evaluation methods for virtual training systems.
The evaluation method consists of a subjective/objective evaluation method, evaluation criteria, evaluation questionnaires, evaluation metrics, etc., that can evaluate the effectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction of the virtual training systems. This standard also defines experimental methods for evaluation containing setting the experiment’s environment, selecting the test subject, configuring the test subject group, designing the experiment, and the experimental procedures.
Need for the project:
There are no standardization activities to define evaluation methods of virtual training systems. This information has to be contained to evaluate VR training systems realized by IEEE 2888.4.
