Scope: This guide provides vibration testing methods of and procedures for oilimmersed High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) converter transformers. The guide also defines the principle of vibration testing and test instrumentation to obtain measurement data for analysis. The tests apply to type testing, factory testing, and on-site testing. The guide includes data analysis methods to determine pass or failure of the test specimen.
