The applied ethical approach utilizes a responsible research and innovation approach, which enables developers, researchers, users, and regulators to anticipate and address ethical and sociocultural implications of neurotechnologies, mitigating negative unintended consequences, while increasing community support and engagement with neurotechnology innovators.
