Scope: The Scope of the Broadcast Technology Standards Committee shall be the standardization and documentation of devices, equipment, techniques, and systems related to the production, distribution, wired and wireless transmission, propagation aspects, and reception of video, audio, and/or data services in which the one-to-many transmissions are intended for direct reception by the general public or a target audience.

Currently planned projects include:

• Aggregated Digital Studio-to-Transmitter-Link (STL) for Radio
• Passive Intermodulation (PIM) Measurements at Broadcast Frequencies & Power Levels
• Transmitter Spectrum Mask Measurements at Broadcast Frequencies & Power Levels
