SCOPE: The IES Standards Committee, on behalf of the Industrial Electronics Society, shall develop standards covering the IES Field of Interest defined in Section 4 of the IES Constitution, where the field of interest shall be confined to the theory and applications of electronics, controls, communications, instrumentation and computational intelligence to industrial and manufacturing systems and processes.
