Scope: The Knowledge Engineering Standards Committee (KESC) develops and maintains standards in the knowledge engineering and service ecosystem. Knowledge engineering is a systematic, disciplined, quantifiable approach to the development, operation, and maintenance of knowledge service systems. Knowledge engineering areas of interest include full lifecycle, interconnection, interoperation, representation formats, modeling, acquisition, fusion, storage, computing, management, maintenance, exchanging of knowledge, and the development, implementation, and application of knowledge service systems and knowledge bases.
