Scope: The Optical Synthetic Aperture Techniques (OSAT) Project Authorization Request (PAR) Study Group (SG) is tasked with identifying and recommending to the Synthetic Aperture Standards Committee (SASC) potential optical synthetic aperture technologies that may benefit the most from standardization via a standard, guide, or recommended practice. Some of the optical imaging modalities that may be considered by the OSAT-SG include ptychographic and holographic implementations, light field and non-line-of-sight imaging, and long-range subdiffraction-limited visualization that leverages synthetic aperture methods.
