QUSCom Committee Scope
The Quantities, Units, and Symbols Standards Committee (QUSCom) studies questions regarding quantities, units, and systems of measurement; prepares recommendations and standards on these matters in support of the IEEE Policy on metrics; and provides current information on quantities and units to all organizations preparing IEEE standards in support of the IEEE SA Standards Board Implementation Plan for IEEE Policy 9.17. QUSCom maintains the American National Standard for Metric Practice, IEEE/ASTM SI-10, and advises all IEEE entities on questions regarding metric practices and the application of the International System of Units (SI).
