About the Study Group
The purpose of this Study Group is to examine a proposal for standardization of domain-specific applications for artificial intelligence systems related to:
- Communications-Based Train Control (CBTC) systems and technologies; and
- Railway signaling systems.
Technology suppliers, transit agencies, policymakers, consultants, researchers, and other materially interested parties are invited to join the study group to:
- Identify domain applications and technical characteristics for standardization;
- Determine interest in a standardization project; and
- Define a pathway for the project.
