(VT/HSTMSC)

Scope: The Vehicular Technology Society/High Speed Train and Maglev Standards Committee
(VT/HSTMSC) covers wheel-rail type high-speed trains that operate at speed equal to or greater
than 200 km/h and magnetic levitated system. It mainly develops standards related to HSTM’s
electrical systems, safety, reliability and operational maintenance. These standards cover the
HSTM’s trainborne electrical equipment, signalling and control system, fixed installation on
ground.
