The PTP icon provides a convenient visual cue for the Precision Time Protocol and is appropriate for PTP publications, presentations, and products. The image is provided under the Creative Commons “CC BY” license, which lets others distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon our image, even commercially, as long as they attribute the IEEE 1588 website for the original creation. The PTP icon is meant to help audiences recognize when the Precision Time Protocol has an association with an item. Note that the presence of a PTP icon does not convey formal compliance or certification – rather it is intended to distinguish the Precision Timing Protocol from other protocols. Although the PTP icon can be referred to as the “PTP logo”, it is not trademarked.
