IEEE 7003-2024, the standard for the consideration of bias, is now published! The model’s unique consideration addresses unwanted bias to improve equity and fairness.

It is a valuable model, easy to understand with universal application that integrates into existing systems.   It centers around the Bias Profile and the goal of optimizing productive bias that guides automated recommendations, predictions and decisions and of mitigating harmful bias that influences systemic inequality.
