Overview of IEEE 2941 WG

Title: Standard for Artificial Intelligence (AI) Model Representation, Compression, Distribution and Management

Standards Committee：C/DC – Data Compression Standards Committee

Scope: It defines AI development interface, AI model interoperable representation, coding format, and model encapsulated format for efficient AI model inference, storage, distribution, and management.

The working group currently has three standard projects, namely Standard for Artificial Intelligence (AI) Model Representation, Compression, Distribution and Management(P2941), Standard for Operator Interfaces of Artificial Intelligence (P2941.1), andStandard for Application Programming Interface (API) of Deep Learning Inference Engine (P2941.2). All three projects are either published or pending publication. In the future, the working group will continue to explore related standards for AI model data processing
