Dear Planet Positive 2030 Community (current and future),

We hope you had a wonderful summer!

We’ve received a number of wonderful responses to Strong Sustainability by Design which is a key reason we’ve decided to extend the feedback period through to the end of September. We have also simplified the response process and our basic invitation and request for today is – please share the message that we’d love more feedback on the document throughout the end of this month (see Sample Message at end that you can cut, paste and send by email or on social media).

You can download Strong Sustainability by Design and learn about providing feedback here.

Some points you may want to share with friends / colleagues:

  • People don’t have to read the entire document to provide feedback. We recommend people check out The Introduction or Executive Summary as a great starting point. The FAQ also provides great context for reading the document.
  • Where you find a chapter or subject of interest, we’re expecting to post 1-2 pages of feedback per commenter per chapter, but we’re open to more – or less. So we are not expecting a line by line review, but we want to hear what you think – it is important.
  • We’d love any technical expertise you can provide for any of the “recommendations” in all of the chapters. Are you a civil engineer, a computational biologist, or a materials scientist? Are you an expert in telemedicine, smart cities, or the legal aspects of AI governance? Whatever your specialty, we need you! What’s your reaction when you see terms like, “a caregiving economy?” or “regenerative design?” Are these new terms to you? Do they make sense? Why or why not? The more specific the better, as a key aspect of communication around climate change and sustainability issues involve…communication – learning how people from different disciplines and different geographical locations and communities address solutions, in systems thinking and other ways.

You can read our full guidelines here and then use this link to submit your thoughts. You can also email us your feedback at: [email protected] if that’s easier for you, but do please read our guidelines before doing so.

Warm regards and thank you in advance for helping spread the word (you can use the language below to cut and paste in LinkedIn or other outlets to make things easier for you).
