May 2021 Newsletter

We invite you to participate in a survey on “What do Learning Engineers Do” for a research project that we are doing with the University of Dayton. The purpose of the project is to better understand the job duties, tasks, and perceptions of learning engineers across various contexts and workplaces.

When you click on the link to the survey, you will first be asked to read a description of the study. At the end of the description, the survey begins. We are excited about the project and will share what we learn with you.

Our next monthly community meeting is Wednesday, May 19th at 12 ET.  Jessie Chuang and Brendt Dargue, co-chairs of the ICICLE Corporate SIG, will talk about key points from interviews that they’ve had with companies and what they have learned. We’ll be meeting via Webex and agenda will be posted here.

May 16th is the last day to submit to Data Science for Everyone coaltion’s campaign to commit an action to advance data literacy and data science education.

Join the community meeting on May 19th, learn what is happening in the Corporate SIG and share with other ICICLEists what you are working on.
