The ICICLE monthly community call is December 20th at 12pm ET. The guest speaker this month is YOU! What was your learning engineering highlight in 2023? What would you like your 2024 highlight to be? Join the community call, fill out this form, describe them in learning engineering LinkedIn group and/or email us. We’ll share them at the call.

We’ll be meeting via Webex for the community call. (See details below with meeting code and password.) It is scheduled for one hour’s length. Full agenda will be posted here.

Save the Date for the ICICLE 2024 Learning Engineering Conference, July 22-24, 2024
Preparations have started for the ICICLE 2024 Learning Engineering Conference, organized by ASU Learning Engineering Institute and ICICLE. Information about sessions, contributions and logistics coming soon. All are welcome in planning the conference. Please reach out to the conference manager if you are interested.

Learning Engineering Toolkit

Learning engineering is an iterative process. As such, the Learning Engineering Toolkit will be iteratively improved. We seek your suggestions/changes/corrections/additions to the next iteration of Learning Engineering Toolkit. Please tell us about them here, Learning Engineering Toolkit Suggestions.

In eLearn Magazine, Douglas Wilson reviewed the Toolkit, How to Engineer eLearning: An evidence-based human-centered design process for modern times, A Review of Learning Engineering Toolkit: Evidence-based Practices from the Learning Sciences, Instructional Design, and Beyond. He wrote that the toolkit “will be indispensable when the right approach demands human-centered design, lean and agile strategies, rapid prototyping, and data-informed decision-making to iteratively develop increasingly complex learning environments.”

Special and Market Interest Group Work

The Special and Market Interest Groups develop resources and document experiences for the learning engineering community. Everyone is welcome to join one, two or all the SIGs and MIGs.
